Writte and directed by Paul Naschy is the tenth movie dedicated to the wolfman Waldemar Daninsky and the first one directed by the actor starring him facing here one of the most controversial historical figure of all time, the hungarian noblewoman and serial killer Elizabeth Bathory, never too much exploit but the horror genre but her starred by the excellent and sensual Julia Saly ; unfortunately it was released at the same time as Joe Dante’s Howling and John Landis’s American werewolf in London that probably compromise his visibility. Aka “The Return of the Wolfman” and “The night of the werewolf”.
