Abraham Lincoln vs. Zombies by Richard Schenkman (Usa/2012)
Running time: 96′ – Genre: Horror/Fantasy
In the midst of the War of Secession, President Lincoln, still haunted by the memory of his parents turned into zombies , will have to face an army of undead Northerners and Southerners reanimated by a mysterious virus…..
One of the most famous films distributed by Asylum and almost an instant-mockbuster of Century Fox’s more famous “The Legend of the Vampire Hunter,” which, stages a story paradoxically less absurd than the film it was inspired by but shot in a quick, dry and effective style that Asylum would pick up for its celebrated “Z-Nation.” Unforgettable is the president hitting zombies by pirouetting with a pickaxe. On the theme of secession with zombies however had already been shot “The Killing box” by George Hickenlooper.
