From the director of “Scared to Death” and “Feardotcom” a beautiful space horror-sci fi that seems to be the point of contact between “Alien” and “Predator” ,with reminiscences of “The Thing” and “Krull” certainly lacking in originality but nonetheless complimented by masterful direction. To be rediscovered as are all or films in the vein. In the cast stands out a Klaus Kinski relegated to a secondary role . Director Malone had also directed some episodes of “Tales from the Crypt” and the TV series based on the “Nightmare” saga. Special effects handled by the Skotak brothers who later took care of those in “Aliens.”
