Directed by the person responsible for the visual effects of “The Thing” and “Terminator” an interesting mix of rape & revenge and science fiction perhaps not at the level of masters such as Abel Ferrara and David Cronenberg but still competitive in mise-en-scene and effects and a main protagonist at ease in the role . Worth catching up on . Filmed in California . Also in the cast is David Naughton of “An American Werewolf in London.” The title in Italian would be “Steel and Lace.”
