The brain by Edward Hunt (Canada/1988)
Running time: 94′ – Genre: Horror, Science Fiction

From the director of “Bloody Birthday” a derivative of “Videodrome“‘ ( but there are also quotations from the classics “Blob“, “Invasion of the Body Snatchers” and logically “Alien“) not bad in concept and execution ; too bad that the almost parodistic trash (the “brain” in fact is a plastic monster with almost harmless features) risks making what could perhaps have been a more serious horror film look like a game for its own sake….
