Stone’s second film and remake of Robert Florey‘s The Beast with Five Fingers shot with craft and style though light years away from the biopic, documentary genre that would make the fortune of the future “Natural born killers” director ; rests however a curious experiment that also enjoys a small cult following. In the cast Michael Caine who, according to legend, was chosen after the defections of Jon Voight and Christopher Walken while actress Viveca Lindfors was nominated for a Saturn for best supporting actress. Music by James Horner.
